Scott, these kick system articles, especially taken in aggregate, really are fantastic. To learn a little bit about the provenance of a system or method is just so helpful in terms of placing it in to some sort of context. I guess I'd say it helps avoid any urge to "justify or rationalize" them beings there's obvious utility - even if nested in the development or refinement if you will. ... It might not have been obvious to me at all, unless I'd seen it in the literature somewhere - which is likely that pretty soon some of it I will - so it's really nice to have some "backdrop & preview" (kind of at the same time). Really well done and carefully presented is what it seems to me. Outstanding.
