SEE System

I currently use a variation of the SEE system (with some SAMBA and Pro One added in) for aiming and am also a certified instructor for the system here in the states. This system was developed by Ekkes (full name Ekkhard Schneider-Lombard), a top player and instructor from Germany, and it is also endorsed by Darren Appleton. I've very much enjoyed my friendship and conversations with Ekkes, he's a great guy, very knowledgeable and passionate about the game. The system uses discrete points on the balls, such as edges and shadows, for initial alignment and makes use of a simple step or pivot to arrive at the final shot line. It can be used for all normal shots on the table as well as banks and also contains built in adjustments for distance and using English. In my opinion this is one of the strongest, simplest, and yet most thorough aiming systems available.
In addition to the system itself, the 240+ page training manual and associated 5+ hours of high definition video also cover other topics such as cue ball position routes and reference lines, using side spin effectively, and how to determine shot angles while at the table, making the material well worth the price.
Contact me for additional information or if you have any questions on the system, I'd be happy to help.
UPDATE 02/01/2015: Ekkes had to temporarily take the website down, so there is no longer a direct link to order the system. I get many requests for this each month, and while I'm allowed to resell the manual myself, I prefer that Ekkes gets the credit and money he deserves for his efforts.
You can still order the system directly from Ekkes. Just send $54.90 via PayPal to [email protected]. He will see the payment and within a day or so respond with a download link for the manual, which is 240 pages with embedded YouTube links for 5+ hours of video instruction as well. If for whatever reason you send the money and don't hear from him, you can contact me at [email protected] and if I can verify payment I will get the manual to you personally. But over the past several months that the site has been down, I have not heard of any issues from anyone I've referred this way, and there have been many.
UPDATE 01/01/2016: Ekkes has released his new system SAMBA. This is a new approach to aiming that is different than SEE in it's aiming lines and execution and the instructional materials contain a wealth of new information as well. Ekkes and I had exchanged notes on the new system in late 2015, and I had a chance to see it in person when I met up with Ekkes at the Derby City Classic. It was great getting to meet Ekkes in person and not only work on the system but just play and eat and hang out.
The SEE System is still available but just not on his website, I get a few inquiries about it here and there. You can follow the directions above to order if you are interested.
For SAMBA, you can go to the SAMBA website to order the new system, get more information about it, or see some great sample videos of Ekkes in action using the system.

CTE/Pro One
Click for more info on Pro One
Pro One is a system invented by Stan Shuffett, who is not only an excellent PBIA certified instructor and all around nice guy but also a great player himself, as is his son Landon. He has put a lot of work into his aiming system and it is very effective. I spent two years working with this system and it is very strong, and from my use I feel there are many synergies with other systems and approaches that can be utilized as well.
CTE/Pro One also uses points on both balls for initial alignment and either a manual or natural pivoting motion or "sweep" to arrive at a pure center ball, center pocket alignment. Stan produced two DVDs packed with examples and information as well as numerous supplemental videos that can be found on YouTube. He is also getting ready to release a very detailed book on the topic that promises to be a thorough and exciting look into the world of CTE.
